what the CRAP is that?
how did crap start? not in a boardroom, that's for sure. i was rigging a camera when my dc to d-tap cable broke. classic. while sitting on the toilet, i started looking for a new one and quickly realised how ridiculously overpriced they were. same cable, fifteen times cheaper if you got it straight from overseas. that was the moment it clicked.
what started as a quick google search turned into a bit of an obsession. eight months later, crap launched with two mark 1 products and a third one in the works. now we're here, slowly building things up, figuring it out as we go.
this whole thing is one big experiment. i’ll make mistakes, learn from them, and keep moving. there’s no secret playbook, just a lot of trial and error, and hopefully some solid products in the end.
crap is about being honest. no fluff, no sneaky stuff. just well-made gear, fairly priced, and built with care. if you want to see where it’s all heading, check the product roadmap. got feedback? send it over. curious about the environmental side of things? look into 1% for the planet. everything’s out in the open.

in july 2025 i added a new batch of 3d printed products. it started when i bought a printer at the end of 2024 and got completely hooked. taught myself fusion 360, and within two months i was designing random parts for stuff around the house.
then it clicked. why not make gear i actually need for work? the first idea turned into what’s now called SCREENMOUNT. because let’s be honest, a dangling ssd flopping around while you're editing on the go is just annoying.
