frequently asked questions

1
how long does it typically take to process an order?

usually 1 or 2 days after you order, unless i'm out working on set for a longer period of time. if that’s the case, ill let you know with an announcement in the topbar.

2
im a EU resident and got a VAT number, what do i do?

i can exempt you from paying vat. either before or after you place your order. just send over your vat number and i’ll add it on my end. if you already paid, you’ll get the vat refunded. and from then on, future orders will be vat-free.

3
where can i find my invoice?

in the confirmation email you see a big black button that says invoice, there you can download it. if you can find the confirm email, please reach out and ill help you on your way.

4
do you ship internationally?

my 'warehouse' (aka film studio, office and creative hub) is based in haarlem, the netherlands.

5
what is CRAP's vision on sustainability?

sustainability’s always been a big one for me. i spend a lot of time outside, like hiking, filming, or just getting inspired, so it makes sense to keep crap as low impact as possible. here’s what i’m doing to keep it that way:

  • i donate 1% of yearly profits to wwf, the main nature and climate org in the netherlands
  • packaging is kept super minimal. just a single label. no fancy boxes or extra waste
  • products are shipped from asia to the netherlands by train. takes longer, but better for the planet
  • if you order in bulk, you won’t get separate packaging, saves space, waste, and time

6
where is CRAP made?

CRAP products are designed and sampled right here in the netherlands.

i start with digital sketches and test different materials to get the first samples just right. once they hold up, i work with trusted partners to produce them at scale. the POUCH is made at a small factory in china i've built a solid relationship with. other materials come from suppliers in vietnam, japan, and sometimes china.
