Choose your ideal size

We offer one standard, globally recognized size, which is A1. This poster format is perfect for small to medium-sized workshops, garages, bedrooms, or offices.

We've chosen A1 because it's relatively easy to find slim frames for the charts anywhere in the world.

Additionally, we can also produce custom sizes. In-house, we can print up to a height of 24 inches or 60.96 cm. If your workshop requires a larger format, rest assured, we have close partners who can print to incredible sizes.

Anamorphic charts are currently being designd.

A chart for up to 17k sensors

In our quest to ensure that our Focus Charts are up to par with today's standards, thorough testing on the latest camera sensors was imperative.

We rigorously assessed our charts using a variety of modern cameras, including the Sony Burano 8.6k, Sony FX6 & FX3, Blackmagic PYXIS, Ursa cameras and various RED cameras equipped with 8K sensors.

Throughout these tests, our charts performed admirably, consistently meeting expectations. Interestingly, some elements of the charts were so finely detailed that they exceeded the capabilities of the camera sensors, a positive indication of their precision.

This underscores our commitment to providing reliable tools for filmmakers, tailored to the demands of contemporary cinematography. As technology advances, we remain dedicated to ensuring that our charts remain at the forefront of industry standards, empowering filmmakers with the accuracy and reliability they require.

Which printing method is right for you?

We frequently receive inquiries about choosing between in-house printing and self-printing. Continue reading to discover the best option for you.

In-house printing

The Pro:
Entrusting us to print your new Focus Chart offers the advantage of guaranteed quality. We utilize extremely precise and high-quality printers to achieve sharp edges and beautiful contrast, ensuring the best possible results.

The Con:
However, since we need to ship the chart to your doorstep, there's a risk of damage due to the product's nature. While we take every precaution to securely pack the chart, even a single wrinkle could render it unusable.

Our recommendation:
If you reside in Europe, the USA, Canada, or any other country with direct and fast shipping connections to the Netherlands, we suggest letting us print your Focus Chart. DHL typically handles packages marked 'fragile' with care.

Self-print

The Pro:
Since we don't have to ship the order to you, there is no chance of damage (oh really?). Another benefit is that by purchasing a printable chart, you support local printing businesses, which is good for the local economy and for your connections.

The Con:
We've heard stories where print shops guarantee ultra-high-resolution printing, but the chart was anything but high quality. A focus chart—especially with the ultra-high-resolution sensors these days—requires the best quality chart. So if you choose self-printing, ensure that the lithographer is aware of the intended use of this chart.

Our recommendation:
If you live in a country that lacks a direct shipping route by air from the Netherlands, we recommend self-printing.

How we ship & pack

We use cardboard tubes to ship your freshly printed focus chart to your doorstep. This is the most secure way to keep the chart itself safe from damage.

Additionally, we add a thin layer of protection on top of the printed side to safeguard it from scratches. Since we print on matte paper, the printed side is more susceptible to damage than regular paper with a glossy finish.
