let's talk about shipping (because apparently i have to)
alright, let's have a little chat. it's just me, sjoerd, behind this whole crap.supply thing. for anyone new here, there’s no big warehouse, no team of people in matching t-shirts, and definitely no venture capital funding. it’s just me in a room, surrounded by gear i personally use and believe in, trying to build something from scratch. something for people like me—filmmakers, creators, people on set who need reliable stuff that just works.
and part of building something is dealing with the parts that aren't glamorous. the stuff that happens after you click "buy." i'm talking about shipping costs.
i took a hard look at my shipping prices recently and... yeah. they weren't great. it felt fundamentally wrong to charge so much just to send a package, especially to my neighbours here in the netherlands. shipping is an absolute beast for a small brand. you're trying to compete with the giants who have magical, secret-handshake deals with carriers for shipping tens of thousands of packages a day. meanwhile, i'm just trying not to lose my shirt sending a single box to belgium. it’s a constant battle.
so, i sat down with a mountain of spreadsheets and carrier websites until my eyes bled. i wanted to find a better way, a fairer way. the result? shipping is now cheaper. for some of you, a lot cheaper.
the new deal on shipping
i've managed to wrestle down the standard shipping price for a bunch of places. for everyone in the netherlands, it's now just €3,50. my friends in belgium and germany get the same deal. because you're close, and frankly, it just makes sense.
but the big news is the free shipping. i want to make it a no-brainer for you to stock up on what you need without getting hit by a nasty surprise at checkout. i've completely reworked the thresholds to be more logical and accessible.
here's the breakdown:

spend €75 and shipping's on me if you're in the netherlands, belgium, germany, & luxembourg.

going a bit further to austria, france, italy, spain, denmark, portugal, & the uk? make it €100 and i'll cover it.

for the rest of europe and north america (czechia, slovakia, estonia, finland, sweden, hungary, poland, bulgaria, greece, romania, switzerland, slovenia, croatia, norway, latvia, lithuania, malta, ireland, usa, & canada), your order ships free at €150.

orders over €200 ship free to the uae, cyprus, hong kong, indonesia, japan, malaysia, singapore, south korea, sri lanka, & israel.

and for my mates down under in australia & new zealand, shipping is free on orders over €250.
why the change?
because high shipping costs are a barrier. they're that annoying little voice that makes you close the tab. i get it. i've been that customer. i want to make it easier for you to get this gear in your hands. this whole brand only exists because of a small community of people like you who believe in what i'm doing. this is my way of making things a little fairer, a little more transparent. it's a balancing act between not going broke and not ripping you off.
