does the magnet mess up your ssd or monitor?
no. the magnet in universal SCREENMOUNT is strong enough to hold your drive in place, but nowhere near powerful enough to mess with your data or tamper with your monitor.
modern ssds are well protected, and it would take a magnet over 100 times stronger to even have a chance at causing issues. your files are safe. your laptop’s safe. nothing to worry about.
snap it in place
i designed the universal mount to be as lightweight and hassle-free as possible. this magnetic version has been my go-to for the past few weeks, and it's quickly become one of those tools i don't want to work without.
in the office, on the move, or cramped in a van. it stays put. no unplugging, no dropped drives, no missing media. once you start using it, it just makes sense.
frequently asked questions
for the most part, yes. if your drive is around the size of a samsung T9 (60 to 70mm wide), the mount and TPU strap will handle it easily.
it has some stretch, so most modern ssds fit snug and secure. the magnet keeps everything steady, so you don’t have to worry about your drive moving around.
if you’re trying to mount a 15-year-old brick of a drive, maybe not, but for almost all modern ssds, you’re good to go. i do NOT advice to use spinning harddisks with universal SCREENMOUNT.

ive added small semi-circles made from anti-slip material for ssds that do not have a shielded silicone thingy. like the samsung T7.
